Compliance

EUDR compliance. Built in, not bolted on.

EU Regulation 2023/1115 creates a legal obligation for every EU importer and trader. Barrs is the infrastructure that makes compliance executable — for every actor in the supply chain.

What Is EUDR?

EU Regulation 2023/1115 — Deforestation-Free Products.

The EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) prohibits placing regulated commodities on the EU market unless they are demonstrably deforestation-free and produced in compliance with the laws of the country of production.

Regulated commodities include cocoa, coffee, soy, palm oil, cattle, wood, rubber — and their derived products. Any operator or trader placing these on the EU market must perform due diligence and file a Due Diligence Statement (DDS) with EU customs.

Non-compliance carries penalties of up to 4% of annual EU turnover and confiscation of goods. Enforcement is active.
